Take a tour

Take a peek at our courses… a 60 second whistle-stop tour to give you a feel for the look, quality and style of our training.

Have you ever seen a fire safety course with the style, feel, and addictive theme music, of an 80s video game? A course on oil system cleaners presented as a pop-art cartoon? Information Security mocked up as Mission Impossible?

We relish the challenge to create something compelling, creative and slightly quirky, out of the notoriously dull.

We have been using flick since 2018.  We love that it’s so simple to onboard a new trade into the business and to be confident they will have all the basic H&S courses allocated to them.  When we started with flick, our Account Manager setup the site with us so it works just the way we need and allocating training is so simple.  Without us having to do anything, the system will remind trades when their training needs refreshing and alert us once they have had several reminders themselves, so we can intervene.

In addition to the H&S courses, as our trades have access to customers data through their work devices, we can also provide basic Cyber Awareness training.  It’s pitched at just the right level for our trades and provides good evidence for our Cyber Essentials award.

We have several trades with dyslexia, who in the past have found some online training difficult to use.  The use of simple language alongside engaging voiceover has made adoption of the flick training very easy.  To our surprise, we have had several trades taking additional courses on the platform in their own time.  As it costs us no more, regardless of how many courses we use, this is something we are happy to encourage our trades to undertake.

The site has a great suite of reports, which allow us to evidence our training to our accreditation scheme such as CHAS and SafeContractor every year.  We can also quickly report on any mandatory training that our trades still need to complete.
