What does the government demand from teachers?

The Government is demanding you and your staff complete new training.

You are now obligated by law to understand what FGM and radicalisation are.

You need to be able to spot the signs and know what actions to take should you suspect someone is at risk of either.

Your FGM training needs to comply with the Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003 and the Serious Crime Act 2015 and your radicalisation training needs to comply with The Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, The Prevent Duty and The Prevent Strategy.

It’s a lot to take in.

It might also feel like it’s going to take a lot of reading, time and money to get it right. But there is an alternative.

Effective training = e-learning

E-learning has been proven to be beneficial to companies and schools alike.

Why?

  • It’s easy to roll out to large numbers (and can be completed at any time to suit your staff’s busy schedule).
  • It’s quick and easy to set up (all you need is an email address).
  • It’s effective and fun, (and unlike paper courses can include different media such as video, voiceover and games).

Time efficient e-learning

Learning online is more time efficient. Fact. You’re not trapped in a room waiting for a face-to-face trainer to run you through the basics at a pace that leaves no one behind.

As a teacher, you will be more aware than anyone how everyone learns at different speeds. E-learning allows you to train at the pace that suits you. You and your staff can log on to your accounts at any time and read through the learning topics at your own speed.

Cost efficient e-learning

Did you know on average, for the price of one paper programme (excluding the postage charges) you can purchase 50 staff members worth of training for 30-plus courses?

Another massive benefit with e-learning is its ability to stay current. It can be updated with new legislation at no extra cost to you!

It’s more eco-friendly too; read more about it here.

What are you waiting for?

E-learning is time and cost efficient, your budget will go much further.

It’s refreshed and updated extra resources and further learning tools and, did we mention you can also have all this training certified and accredited with CPD points?
